PSAN Recovery Speaker Series – Rob Walker

Join us to hear Rob Walker talk about older adults and behavioral health.  Rob will talk about services available in MA for older adults, including Certified Older Adult Peer Specialists.  He will also talk about the exciting work he is involved in with Dr. Karen Fortuna from Dartmouth College, around older adults and technology.  Finally, Rob will present the results of a groundbreaking community research project on setting the research agenda for Early Mortality in People With Serious Mental Illness.

Rob Walker is with the Office of Recovery and Empowerment for DMH, and the Co-Chair of the Statewide Older Adult Behavioral Health Collaborative.  Rob also teaches and consults nationally around older adult behavioral health and older adult peer support.  He is on the National Advisory Board for both the E4 Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Disparities in Aging, and for the National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities.
