Latinx SAN

Es una red de hablantes en Español dedicada a la misión de generar una mejor conciencia sobre la salud mental y el bienestar de las comunidades Latinx en todo Massachusetts. Nuestro objetivo es llegar y apoyar a las familias y las personas que enfrentan barreras culturales, raciales y de idioma además de sus condiciones de salud mental. Nos ayudamos mutuamente a desarrollar nuevas estrategias de afrontamiento y nuevas actitudes, así como oportunidades para enseñar o participar en actividades de divulgación.

Is a network of Spanish-language speakers dedicated to the mission of bringing better awareness about mental health and well-being to Latinx Communities throughout Massachusetts. Our focus is to reach and support families and individuals facing cultural, racial, and language barriers in addition to their mental health conditions. We help each other develop new coping strategies and new attitudes as well as opportunities to teach or participate in outreach activities.

Originalmente un “affiliate” muy pequeña en el vecindario de Revere, hablando espanol, nos convertimos en parte de NAMI Greater Boston en 2019.

Originally a very small affiliate in the Revere neighborhood, speaking Spanish, we became part of NAMI Greater Boston in 2019.
